We found this at the Naval Aviation Museum (Pensacola) today, and have already decided that this is something the entire travel community needs to see. If you don't travel and don't get it, don't worry...I would be happy to do a video on it and explain:) If you do travel and kno about the navy showers at night, feel free to share😂 . . . The sign says: A. Five second pre-lather shower B. Soap up C. 10-second rinse Violations of the above will result in automatic termination of shower privileges as well as permanent assignment to the water bucket brigade. . . . Visiting Laura Ingalls Wilder's homestead in South Dakota was a huge success! For me, I got to take adorable pictures, and everyone's else got to play with kittens🐱 Every time they heard my camera click, they stopped everything and watched it like they were going to pounce😂 That's why they're all looking at me:) . . . They only have 4 sites available on the homestead, and we were so excited to be able to score one! It's a very active farm complete with animals, and a living history too. I'll post more pics later...spoiler alert: we got to drive a covered wagon🤭 . . . Mt. Rushmore was one of those places you see in everyone's pictures....but think it'll be so much better in person. Well, it was super cool and definitely a bucketlist check, but not really any better in person🤷🏼‍♀️ . . We did have a good time learning the history; like how Jefferson's face cracked down the middle and they had to blast it off, or how they were actually supposed to be carved with torsos too, or even how it was finished almost 1 month before the bombing of Pearl Harbor💣 . . . Mom made us pose as the presidents--I think I make a pretty good Washington, but keeping a straight face was TOUGH.
